The GWA project is organising two more events in Molise to involve local stakeholders in building a new model of promotion of water and adventure tourism. The events will be organised by the Municipality of Castel San Vincenzo, GWA partner, supported by EURelations EEIG, which provides technical assistance for management and financial activities.
The first event "Orientation and Training" will take place on Friday 9 June from 15:30 in Castel San Vincenzo (province of Isernia) The municipality of Castel San Vincenzo will present the GWA project goals and activities to the local stakeholders mostly working in the fields of outdoor tourism in the Volturno area. The Voltuno Valley offers various attractions, unspoiled landscapes and heritage of enourmous interest. It's visibility is also growing as linked to sport, outdoor and adventure tourism. However, there is still much work to do to develop the sector in a coordinated and effective manner.
The second event will take place on Friday 16 June from 15:00 in the small town of Guardialfiera (province of Campobasso) and will be hosted at the Parco Letterario® "Francesco Jovine". Parchi Letterari® is a coordinated network of places of cultural, historic and architectural interest, aimed at protecting and correctly using the cultural landscape, in addition to preserving and enhancing the local cultural and productive identities. The network depends on the Dante Alighieri Society, which for over a century has promoted and disseminated Italian language, art and culture, both within Italy and worldwide.
The two events will help project partners explore possible cooperation with local stakeholders, in a transnational perspective.
