On 28 July the Albanian Ministry of Culture, GWA partner, is organising an Open Space Technology Forum in Shkodra.

The Forum will be aimed at presenting the vision of the Ministry of Culture for the implementation of the Green Waters Adventure project and in particular on how to promote sustainable adventure tourism activities in Albania, with a focus on environmental preservation and natural heritage.

Through this Forum, the Ministry of Culture will meet the sector stakehoders and encourage an open discussions about three identified GWA-relevant topics: Nature Tourism, Culture and Traditions, Digital Promotion of the tourist brand.

The event is taking place in Shkodër, an emerging adventure tourism destination on the Albanian border with Montenegro, where local operators organise and offer different kinds of outdoor experiences ranging from kayaking or hiking tours to wild-swimming day tours as well gastronomy and food and wine tasting.

The event will be an occasion to learn more about their efforts to turn their villages into sustainable and responsile travel destinationsm and to identify common grounds for cooperation.
